Kingshot hacks and tricks that work (no cheats)

Short answer

Here are 17 allowed efficiency moves, each with the reason it works and a link to the page that has the detail. None involves cheat software or a bug.

Checked 2026-10-22 against the pages on this site that source each move, and the publisher's Terms of Service.

The moves

These are moves the game allows. Each one is a sentence of ours, the reason it works as the linked page explains it, and a link to that page for the detail. We add no numbers here: figures live on the pages that source them.

Daily routine

1. Never let a queue sit idle. Keep construction, research and training queues running.

WhyOur speedup calculator says the waste comes from letting queues idle, and our daily checklist counts queue upkeep among the daily tasks. → Daily checklist

2. Tick the daily list and keep a streak. Run the same short checklist every day.

WhyThe checklist exists because each recurring task is small and skipping them quietly costs compounding progress. → Daily checklist

3. Do the growth missions and daily tasks. They are always available and always pay out.

WhyOur free-to-play guide says they give gems, speedups and resource packs, and that doing them every day for months adds up to a real lead. → Free-to-play guide

4. Redeem active gift codes. Copy and paste the code instead of typing it.

WhyCodes are case-sensitive and each one redeems once per account, so a typo or a second try looks like a dead code. → Gift codes

5. Put your events on your phone. Set a reminder before Bear Hunt and the other timed events.

WhyOur reminders page sends a phone notification ahead of the event, so you do not depend on remembering. → Phone reminders

Saving for events

6. Check the event calendar every day. See what is running before you spend anything.

WhyOur free-to-play guide says events stack and that missing a window is a loss you do not get back. → Event calendar

7. Time planned upgrades inside event scoring windows. If you were going to upgrade anyway, do it while the event counts it.

WhyThe same work earns event points as well as the upgrade, and the guide calls this a free bonus. → Free-to-play guide

8. Save speedups for the days that score them. Hold speedups for the KvK preparation days rather than spending them as they arrive.

WhyOur speedup calculator notes that speedup minutes are a scored KvK preparation action and that holding them for the right day multiplies their value. → Speedup calculator

9. Run the prep checklist before KvK. Walk into the war with troops, shields and speedups already counted.

WhyThe checklist turns preparation into tick boxes your alliance can share. → KvK prep checklist

10. Check the real queue length before spending stock. Look up the build time first.

WhyOur speedup calculator points to the building calculator because base times there are ceilings before your bonuses. → Building calculator

Alliance

11. Tap alliance help every time. Ask for help on timers and give it back.

WhyHelp requests cost you nothing and take real time off timers, according to our free-to-play and alliance guides. → Alliance guide

12. Agree who leads each Bear Hunt rally before the window opens. Let your strongest accounts lead and fill their rallies.

WhyOur bear trap guide explains the leader and joiner rule that decides the damage. → Bear trap guide

13. Plan landing times with a call order. Have the leader post who sends when.

WhyMarches that land together are easier to coordinate once the arithmetic is done for you. → Rally call-order planner

14. Make shields a written rule, not a reminder. Pin a shield rule before a war, and stock shields from the cheapest source.

WhyOur shield guide lists the alliance shop first and gem purchases last as a source of shields. → Shield guide

Gems

15. Spend gems on what compounds. Plan the gem spend, such as a second building queue or VIP, before you tap.

WhyOur free-to-play guide argues that these keep paying back, while buying resources or shaving a short timer does not. → Free-to-play guide

16. Check the alliance shop before open purchases. Look there first for items you would otherwise pay gems for.

WhyOur free-to-play guide says the alliance shop is often better value for the same item. → Free-to-play guide

17. Wait a day before an unplanned purchase. If the urgency is still there tomorrow, think again.

WhyOur pack value guide says the game’s urgency timers are built to trigger a feeling, not to match a need. → Pack value guide

Why we stop at allowed moves

The Terms prohibit developing, distributing or publicly informing other members about “auto” and “macro” software and other cheat utility software, and the publisher says it checks for third-party tools that help create farming accounts in bulk. These moves use the game as it is offered: none involves cheat software, a hack or a bug, which is what those rules address. For the search that brought you here, see Is there a Kingshot hack?.

Questions people ask

What are the best tricks in Kingshot?

The ones above, in this order of effort: keep your queues full, do the daily tasks, plan around events, use alliance help, and spend gems on what compounds. Each links to the page with the detail.

Are there hacks for Kingshot that work?

None that we know to work, and none that is allowed: the Terms prohibit sharing cheat tools and hacks. See the hub page.

How do I get stronger faster without spending?

Start with the free-to-play guide and the daily checklist. We do not give a speed-up figure because the numbers belong to the pages that source them.

What we could not confirm: any number of how much each move saves, because we add none and the linked pages carry their own sources; whether a given move still applies after a game update, since the linked pages show their own dates; these moves are drawn from our own guides, not from the publisher’s documents.
