How pack value is measured
Every pack in the shop mixes different item types, which makes "is this good value" impossible to eyeball. This calculator normalizes everything to gem-equivalents using conversion rates observed in-game: 1-hour speedups at roughly 50 gems, 8-hour at 400, 24-hour at 1,200, VIP points at 2 gems each, and 100K resource crates at about 5 gems. Enter a pack's price and contents and you get gems-per-dollar — a single comparable number across any two packs.
Reading the result
- The gem-equivalent rates are reference values, not gospel: an item is only worth its conversion if you would actually have spent gems on it. Speedup value is real for an active builder and near-zero for someone whose queues idle.
- Value-per-dollar varies several-fold between packs that look superficially similar — which is the entire reason to run the numbers before buying rather than after.
- For the strategic layer — which pack archetypes are historically worth it and which exist to farm impulse buys — read our full Pack Value guide, one of the most detailed pages on this site.
