Fill in the criteria your alliance actually uses, tap Generate, then Copy — a clean announcement ready to pin in alliance chat or Discord. Leave anything blank and it won't appear in the output.

Why write promotion criteria down

Century Games doesn't publish official rules for who becomes R4 or R3 — every promotion decision sits entirely with the R5 leader. That's exactly why it goes wrong: members guess at the bar, feel passed over, and the alliance absorbs drama that a posted set of criteria would have prevented. Typical criteria used by alliance leaders combine a power floor, a minimum activity window, a KvK participation expectation, and sometimes a kill points or rally attendance threshold. None of this is Kingshot's official policy — it's a starting point you adjust to your alliance's actual standards.

Making it stick

  • Pin it once, point to it forever. A posted criteria list turns "why wasn't I promoted" into "you're at 60 days, the bar is 90" — a fact, not an argument.
  • Pull the numbers from your own roster before setting a bar nobody can hit — check current member power and activity with the Alliance Roster tracker.
  • Announce the promotion itself with the promotion announcement template once someone clears the bar.
  • Review the bar after a KvK season — participation and kill point thresholds that made sense last season may be stale next season.
