Kingshot Merchant Empire guide

You just got raided, or you're sizing someone else's Caravan up. Here's what the Help Center actually says: who can raid you, how ally escorts work, and where Caravan Vouchers really come from.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Merchant Empire in one breath: a solo event — you escort your own Caravans across the kingdom for rewards. Allies who've posted their assisting squad on your assistance list can be invited to escort and defend a Caravan; any non-ally governor in range with the event enabled can raid it. Caravan Vouchers refresh a Caravan's quality (first refresh free, and vouchers never expire) — but they come from the Alliance Brawl event, not from Merchant Empire itself.

What Merchant Empire actually is

Per the Help Center: as the situation within the kingdom becomes clearer, trade routes reopen, with countless merchants carrying abundant supplies across the entire kingdom. You earn rewards by escorting Caravans to their destinations. This is a solo governor's event — it's your own Caravan, not an alliance-vs-alliance battlefield.

Allies help you defend, not just fight for you: you can invite allies to escort your Caravans specifically to prevent them from being raided by other governors. The escort is the defense.

Inviting allies: the assisting squad

  • You can only invite allies who have posted their assisting squad on the assistance list. If an ally isn't showing up as invitable, they haven't posted one yet — that's the whole reason, per the Help Center.
  • Each assisting squad holds up to 3 heroes. If a squad looks like it's missing one, the Help Center's answer is specific: each hero can only escort one Caravan at a time, so check whether that hero is already committed to a different squad.
  • Squad power isn't fixed once it's assigned. While the Caravan is moving, changes to the assisting ally's own stats are reflected on the escort squad in real time — that's why a squad's power can shift mid-escort.

Getting raided — and raiding others

The Help Center's rule on raid targets is short and direct: players in range with the event enabled, excluding your allies, are valid raid targets. That cuts both ways — it's also exactly who you're allowed to raid. An unescorted Caravan from a non-ally governor near you, with the event switched on, is fair game; your own allies never are.

Why the escort matters: since allies-only can't raid you, and an invited escort squad is specifically there to stop a raid from succeeding, the practical defense against getting raided is posting your own assisting squad early and lining up allies to cover your Caravan's run — not just hoping nobody in range notices.

Caravan Vouchers — and the Alliance Brawl link most players miss

  • What they do: a Caravan Voucher refreshes a Caravan's quality. Tap the "+" sign on the interface and use a Voucher to refresh — the first refresh is free.
  • They never expire. The Help Center's answer to whether Caravan Vouchers expire is a flat no — there's no reason to rush-spend a stockpile before some deadline.
  • Where they actually come from: Caravan Vouchers are obtained through the Alliance Brawl event — not through Merchant Empire itself. If you're hunting for a way to refresh Caravan quality inside Merchant Empire's own screens and not finding one, that's because the source is a different event entirely.

What this page doesn't cover

The Help Center's Merchant Empire section (8 articles, all read and cross-checked for this page) doesn't state Caravan quality tiers or what a "refresh" actually changes numerically, raid range or detection radius, reward amounts per escort or per raid, how many Caravans you can run at once, or any cooldown between runs. This page doesn't invent those figures — check your in-game Events screen for them.
