Kingshot Forsaken Temple guide

You just unlocked the dice-and-tile board, or you're weighing a kingdom transfer and don't want to lose progress you didn't know was at risk. Here's what the Help Center actually says — tile levels, chest tiles, Quintuple Rolls, and exactly which Forsaken Temple rewards a transfer resets versus which carry over.

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Forsaken Temple in one breath: a solo event — you roll dice to move across a board of colored tiles, each color a different tile level (max level 5), and land directly on chest tiles to open them. A Quintuple Roll just moves you through all five dice results in order, not a multiplier. Rewards differ from a friend's because they're based on each player's own server progress, not a shared pool. Dice and Adventure Coins convert to resources at the end of an event session — but a kingdom transfer is a separate reset with its own six rules, and the one players get backwards most: progression and tile levels reset, while Common and Golden Dice carry over.

What Forsaken Temple actually is

Forsaken Temple is a solo governor's event — a dice-and-tile board you advance through with your own rolls, the same family as Eternity's Reach and Merchant Empire. There's no opposing alliance and no shared battlefield; it's your own board, your own progress, your own rewards.

Friends don't share rewards here: per the Help Center, reward differences between you and a friend come down to each player's own server progress — not a synced or team-based payout.

The board: tile colors, levels, and chests

  • Tile color = tile level. Each color on the board represents a different tile level, per the Help Center.
  • Upgradable tiles cap at level 5. That's the maximum level the Help Center states for a tile.
  • Chest tiles must be landed on directly. If you've walked past a chest tile more than once without it opening, that's the whole answer — passing over it on your way to a farther tile doesn't trigger it. Move onto it again to open it.

Quintuple Roll, clarified

A Quintuple Roll isn't a single big jump or a multiplier on one roll. Per the Help Center, you move in the order the dice rolled, according to the points each die showed — five sequential moves across the board, one per die, in the order they landed.

End of an event session: Dice and Adventure Coins don't carry forward

This is a different reset from a kingdom transfer (next section) — it happens just from the event session ending. The Help Center's answer to "can I save my Dice and Adventure Coins for the next session" is effectively no: at the end of the event, Dice and Adventure Coins are converted into resources rather than held over as-is for the next run.

Kingdom Transfer and Forsaken Temple — the six rules

This is the highest-stakes question on this page, because getting it backwards tells a player the wrong thing right before an irreversible move. The Help Center lists six distinct effects:

  1. You can rejoin the event in your new kingdom. If Forsaken Temple is also running in the destination kingdom, you may participate in it again there.
  2. An already-bought Adventure Resource Pack can be repurchased the same day. If you'd purchased it before transferring, it can be bought again in the destination kingdom on the same day.
  3. Unclaimed Treasure Hunt Drill rewards follow you by mail. If you'd previously purchased the Treasure Hunt Drill in your old kingdom, any unclaimed rewards — including rewards for locked levels — arrive by mail after the transfer. Your Adventure Points reset at the same time; purchasing the Adventure Drill Pack again afterward earns doubled points and pass rewards.
  4. Progression and tile levels reset — but Common and Golden Dice carry over. This is the one to get right: after a transfer, all progression rewards and tile levels reset to start the board over, while your Common and Golden Dice are not lost.
  5. Ode to Adventure resets. Its missions and rewards reset after a transfer — a clean restart on that track.
  6. Unused Adventure Coins are recycled — redeem them first. Spend any Adventure Coins before transferring; the Adventure Shop also resets, so its stock becomes redeemable again afterward in the new kingdom.
The one distinction that matters most: dice converting to resources (previous section) happens when an event session ends. Dice carrying over (rule 4 above) happens on a kingdom transfer, mid-event. They're different triggers — don't let one answer the other.

What this page doesn't cover

The Help Center's Forsaken Temple section (8 raw links, 7 real articles, all read for this page) doesn't state the board's total tile count, exact reward amounts per tile or chest, how many Dice a player typically earns per session, or the event's run length. This page doesn't invent those figures — check your in-game Events screen for them.

Forsaken Temple FAQ

Why did I walk past the chest several times but couldn't open it?

You must land directly on the chest tile to open it. Passing over it on the way to a farther tile doesn't trigger it.

Can I save my Dice and Adventure Coins for the next event session?

No. At the end of the event, Dice and Adventure Coins are converted into resources rather than carried into the next session.

Why do the tiles have different colors?

Each color represents a different tile level.

How does a Quintuple Roll work?

You move in the order the dice rolled, according to the points each die showed — five sequential moves, not a single multiplied jump.

Why are my friend and I getting different rewards?

Rewards vary based on each player's own server progress — it isn't a shared or synced reward pool between friends.

What is the maximum level of a tile?

Upgradable tiles can reach a maximum level of 5.

What are the effects of Kingdom Transfer on Forsaken Temple?

Six things happen: you can rejoin the event in the destination kingdom if it's running there; an already-purchased Adventure Resource Pack can be bought again the same day in the new kingdom; unclaimed Treasure Hunt Drill rewards (including locked-level rewards) arrive by mail and Adventure Points reset; all progression rewards and tile levels reset, but Common and Golden Dice carry over; Ode to Adventure missions and rewards reset; and unused Adventure Coins are recycled, so redeem them before transferring.
