⚔️ Alliance-vs-alliance

Alliance Brawl guide

A member just asked whether switching alliances mid-Brawl costs them their points. The in-game screen doesn't explain it, and the real answer is counter-intuitive. Here's exactly what the Help Center says — about joining, switching, and when rewards actually land.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Alliance Brawl in one breath: an alliance-vs-alliance event matched via a matchmaking phase that starts 23:00 UTC Sunday — you must be in the alliance at that exact moment to participate and be ranked for it. Your personal Daily Chest points survive leaving the alliance; your alliance's leaderboard/tally points do not transfer with you. Rewards go out at 12:00 UTC Sunday, to whoever is a current member at that moment.

Who can join, and the moment that locks it in

  • Matchmaking begins at 23:00 UTC on Sunday. Whichever alliance you're in at that exact moment is the alliance you're locked into for participation.
  • Members who join afterward cannot take part. Showing up to a mid-event alliance doesn't let you into that Brawl — the roster is set at matchmaking.
The officer's question, answered directly: if a member switches alliances mid-Brawl, they don't lose their own point total — but those points stop counting for your alliance's leaderboard and tally the moment they leave. Tell them that before they assume either "it's fine" or "I'll lose everything" — neither is quite right.

What switching alliances actually does to your points

  • Personal points are never cleared. Your Daily Chest personal point total survives leaving an alliance — join a new eligible alliance and you keep earning it there.
  • Alliance-level points don't transfer. Only governors who were in an alliance at the start of matchmaking can earn points that count for that alliance's leaderboard and tally.
  • Joining a new alliance mid-event earns nothing for it. You can keep adding to your own personal total, but none of it credits the new alliance's score.
  • Returning to your original alliance resumes its scoring — but whatever points you earned while elsewhere don't retroactively count for it, and they're not added in after you return.

Rewards — who gets paid, and when

  • All rewards are distributed at 12:00 UTC on Sunday: Alliance Daily Rewards, Alliance Star Rewards, and Ranking Rewards.
  • Only current members at the moment of tally receive them. Leave before the tally and you miss that round's alliance rewards, regardless of what you earned while a member.
  • Ranking Rewards have an extra condition: you also need to still be in the alliance that originally qualified for them.
  • Alliances that received a bye (no opponent matched that round) only get bye rewards, not the standard ranking payout.

What this page doesn't cover

The Help Center's Alliance Brawl section answers membership, points and reward-eligibility questions, but it does not document a full phase calendar the way Tri-Alliance Clash's section does (no stated sign-up window, battle-phase length, or the days between the Sunday 12:00 UTC tally and the Sunday 23:00 UTC matchmaking that follows it), match structure or opponent count, point values per action, or bye-reward amounts.

We don't guess at any of that here. Check your in-game Events tab for the live schedule and point values on your server.

Rules from the official Kingshot Help Center: Alliance Brawl section (5 articles, all read and cross-checked for this page; a 6th link in the section is Helpshift's generic cookie-policy page, not event content).

Alliance Brawl FAQ

What do I need to join Alliance Brawl?

Stay in the alliance you want to compete for until 23:00 UTC Sunday, when the matchmaking phase begins. Join after that moment and you can't participate.

If I leave my alliance, do I lose my personal points?

No. Daily Chest personal points aren't cleared by leaving. Join a new eligible alliance and you keep earning them there.

If I join a new alliance mid-event, do my points count for it?

No — only governors present at matchmaking start can earn points that count for that alliance. Return to your original alliance and you resume earning for it (but points earned elsewhere in between still don't count for it).

Does switching alliances affect my leaderboard ranking?

Only members present at matchmaking start (23:00 UTC Sunday) are ranked for an alliance. Switch mid-event and you keep your personal points, but they don't transfer to the new alliance's leaderboard or tally.

Who gets Alliance Rewards, and when?

Alliance Daily, Star, and Ranking Rewards go out at 12:00 UTC Sunday to whoever is a current member at that moment. Ranking Rewards also require still being in the alliance that qualified for them. Byed alliances only receive bye rewards.
