1. Who We Are

KingshotPro (kingshotpro.com) is an unofficial strategy and analysis platform for the mobile game Kingshot. We are not affiliated with Century Games or the Kingshot game's developers.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use KingshotPro, how we use it, which third-party services receive your data as part of normal site operation, and what rights you have over your information.

2. Data We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Player ID (FID): An in-game identifier you enter to look up your profile. This is a public game identifier — it does not reveal your real name or contact information.
• Email address: Not collected. KingshotPro has no accounts and no sign-up.
• Alliance information: If you use alliance features, you may enter your alliance name or tag. This is stored locally on your device.
• Survey responses: If you complete the optional player survey, responses are collected anonymously to help improve the site.

Information from the KingshotPro Discord App

If you use the KingshotPro Discord application, the following is stored on our servers rather than only on your device:

• Your Discord user ID, and the ID of a Discord server where you used the app.
• Any Kingshot player ID you register, the kingdom that ID resolves to, and the dates on which it resolved.
• Anything you type into the app yourself — for example a declared power level, language, or play hours. These are your own statements and are labelled as declared, not verified.

We do not store your email address, your real name, your Discord password, your Kingshot account credentials, or the contents of any message you did not send to the app.

Your kingdom and any badge you have earned are public. The link between your Discord account and your Kingshot player ID is not published unless you turn that on yourself.

Information Collected Automatically

• Browser local storage: We use your browser's localStorage to save the profile details and preferences you enter. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymised data about which pages and tools you use to understand how the site is being used and where to improve it. This data does not identify you personally.
• Technical data: Standard web server logs may capture your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your request. These logs are used for security monitoring and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Passwords or in-game credentials of any kind
• Payment card details or billing information
• Government-issued identification
• Real-world location beyond country-level geolocation inferred from IP

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

• Providing the service: Saving the profile details and calculator inputs you choose to enter, on your own device, so the site stays personalised between visits.
• Improving the site: Understanding which calculators and guides are most used, identifying broken features, and prioritising new content.
• Security: Detecting and responding to abuse, spam, or technical attacks.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

KingshotPro uses the following third-party services that may process your data as part of normal site operation. Each service has its own privacy policy that applies to their processing.

The only third parties that may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, are our hosting and CDN providers, listed below.

Cloudflare

KingshotPro's backend infrastructure is protected and proxied through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process traffic data including IP addresses for security and performance purposes. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Century Games (gift-code service)

If you register a Kingshot player ID with our Discord app, that ID is sent to Century Games’ public gift-code service. This happens when we confirm which kingdom the ID is in, and each time a public gift code is redeemed for it. Nothing else about you is sent there. Century Games is the developer of Kingshot and is not affiliated with KingshotPro.

GitHub Pages

The static portions of this site are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect basic server log data. GitHub's privacy policy: GitHub Privacy Statement.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

KingshotPro uses both browser cookies and localStorage to provide a functioning experience.

• Essential storage: We store your cookie-consent choice and the profile details and preferences you enter in localStorage. This stays on your device and lets the site remember your settings.

6. Data Retention

• localStorage data remains on your device indefinitely until you clear your browser data or sign out of KingshotPro.
• Survey responses you choose to submit are kept anonymously to help improve the site. You can request removal at any time via the contact page.
• Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
• Discord app records are kept until you remove them. The /passport unlink command marks your record deleted and stops gift-code redemption immediately; a daily job then erases it, within seven days at the latest.
• The log of kingdom checks — a record that a player ID was checked against a kingdom, and when — is kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. Records of messages the app has delivered are kept for up to 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. For the website itself we hold almost nothing — your profile stays on your own device. If you have used the Discord app, we do hold the records listed in section 2, and /passport unlink removes them without needing to contact us. You can also ask us to remove anything else you have submitted, such as a survey response.
• Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (where technically feasible).

To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact page. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

KingshotPro is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption on all pages, Cloudflare DDoS protection, and access controls on any server-side data storage. No system is completely secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please notify us immediately via the contact page.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of KingshotPro after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
