Whether you're new to Kingshot or a seasoned veteran, understanding the terminology is crucial. Here's an A-Z glossary of terms you'll encounter in the game.
A group of players who band together for mutual benefit, offering support, resources, and protection.
An event where alliance members complete tasks to earn points and rewards for the group.
A special event where players can hunt down bears for rewards, requiring teamwork and strategy.
A system allowing players to construct or upgrade buildings. A second queue can be unlocked with gems.
Players who do not spend real money on the game, relying on strategy and time to progress.
The main central building in your city. Gates all other building levels and unlocks troop tiers, research, and hero equipment crafting. Progresses 1-30 then through Truegold tiers TG1-TG10.
The premium currency in Kingshot, used for speeding up processes and purchasing special items.
Special codes that players can redeem for in-game rewards, often distributed during events or promotions.
The player in charge of a kingdom, responsible for its development and defense.
Equipment that enhances a governor's abilities, providing bonuses to various aspects of gameplay.

A special unit with unique skills and gear, crucial for leading troops and completing missions.
Fragments used to summon or upgrade heroes, collected through events and missions.
A server where players interact, compete, and form alliances within the game world.
An event where kingdoms compete against each other for dominance and rewards.
Players who spend minimal amounts of real money, focusing on strategic purchases.
The process of moving your account to a different kingdom, often for strategic or social reasons.
Your unique identifier in Kingshot (displayed as "FID" in-game under avatar → Settings → Player Info). Used for lookups, gift code redemption, and profile sharing.
A coordinated attack or defense involving multiple players, often organized by alliances.
The process of unlocking new technologies and upgrades to enhance your kingdom's capabilities.
Essential materials required for building, upgrading, and training troops. Bread is Kingshot's primary food-equivalent resource (do not confuse with Pet Food, a separate consumable for pet leveling).
Items that reduce the time needed for construction, research, or training tasks.
A competitive event where players face off in battles to earn prestige and rewards.
Different tiers of troops, with T4 being the most advanced and powerful.
The process of recruiting and preparing soldiers for battle, essential for defense and expansion.
A system that provides players with bonuses and perks, enhancing gameplay efficiency.
An event where players face off against Viking invaders for rewards and glory.
A powerful hero or player known for their combat prowess and leadership in battles.
A player who spends large amounts of money on the game, often dominating leaderboards and events.
A reward chest unlocked when alliance members contribute enough activity points. Higher chest tiers yield better rewards including gems, speedups, and rare materials.
A mechanic where alliance members click "Help" on each other's construction and research timers, shaving minutes off each build. Stacks with player count — a full alliance reduces times significantly.
Multiple simultaneous bonuses that multiply each other's effect. Common in rally coordination — a well-stacked rally combines lead hero skills, joiner hero skills, research, and gear buffs for maximum damage output.
A list of objectives that reset every 24 hours. Completing them earns activity points and task chests. Daily tasks are one of the most efficient free gem and speedup sources — don't skip them.
A secondary account used primarily to generate and transfer resources to a main account. Farm accounts prioritize economic research and resource buildings over combat. See the Farm Account Guide for setup details.
The defensive formation protecting your city. A garrison consists of heroes set as "Defenders" and the troops stationed in your city. Garrison strength determines how well your city survives attacks when you are offline.
The maximum number of troops that can defend your city at once. Increased by upgrading relevant buildings and researching garrison capacity upgrades.
A base layout strategy where weaker players position their city on the map grid in a way that makes it difficult for larger players to rally without exposing themselves to counterattack from alliance neighbors.
Points earned during Kingdom vs Kingdom events from kills, captures, and objectives. KvK score determines individual and alliance rankings, which drive reward tiers.
The number of simultaneous marches (attacks, gathering trips, reinforcements) your city can send at once. Upgraded through research and VIP levels. A larger march queue means more troops gathering at the same time.
How fast your troops travel on the map. Affects gathering efficiency, rally participation windows, and response time in KvK. Buffed by hero skills, research, and gear.
A currency or score system tied to specific events and activities. Merit is spent in dedicated shops for exclusive items not available through regular resource spending.
A building that lets you display artifact cards for passive kingdom-wide buffs. Museum artifacts are collected through specific events and provide long-term stat advantages.
A time-limited protection that prevents other players from attacking your city. Essential during troop training phases and after large resource accumulations. Shields drop automatically if you attack another player's city.
The maximum number of troops that can join a single rally. Set by the rally leader's Embassy level. Higher rally caps mean more damage output per rally launch.
Sending your troops to station inside another player's city, adding to their garrison defense. Useful for protecting weaker alliance members during KvK without exposing your own city.
A recurring competitive event cycle tied to KvK. Players and alliances earn points across multiple phases, with season-end rewards determined by final rankings.
An attack launched from a single city without a rally. Less powerful than a rally but faster and available immediately. Hero widgets do not apply to solo attacks — only to rallies.
A city built specifically to bait and punish attackers. Trap accounts maintain low visible power while hiding large numbers of high-tier troops. When attacked, the trap springs and inflicts heavy losses on the aggressor.
A rare endgame resource used to upgrade the Town Center beyond Level 30 through the TG1–TG10 tier system. Truegold is earned through specific events and daily activities — it cannot be rushed with standard speedups.
Special equipment slots on heroes that provide bonuses specifically during rally attacks and group content. Widgets do not activate in solo attacks — selecting widget-geared heroes for solo content provides no benefit over stat gear.
When all of a player's troops have been killed, leaving their hospital full and their city defenseless. Being zeroed is a major setback requiring significant time and resources to rebuild. A zeroed player is a common target for resource plundering.
